Just a bit of logistics on how the Cairnbaan Hotel came onto the radar.

A]. Thanks to the inspiration you gave on Sannox an Arran being easily accessible for with the Claonaig-Lochranza Ferry being a decent alternative to the disaster at Brodick-Arrossan, that changed things profoundly.

I had given up on getting back across to Arran, but now, it is definitely viable going the Claonaig way.

To help with logistics, I was looking at the prices of small buildings in which to stay on the mainland around Claonaig. The prices are ridiculously high.

Then weirdly, whilst looking for decent second-hand kitchen kit for Sannox Hotel on the Sweeney Kincaid auction website, this appeared...
